Went here with my wife for a quick lunch before going to our concert at Butler. We were staying at Hotel Broad Ripple and my wife pointed it out as we were looking where to eat before the concert. Despite some reviews, I loved how the owner replied and seemed to be doing his best, I found the pub’s about page to be very cool! Plus we liked that this place was within walking distance and had a casual and community based feel. Despite being dressed up for the evening concert, we didn’t want to go someplace expensive and stuffy and were happy to see the prices on their menu were reasonable too! We were not disappointed! The server was excellent, the food came out fast food, and it was delicious! We had onion rings to split, my wife had fish and chips, and I had an Oktoberfest dish comprised of mashed potatoes on a bed of red cabbage with sausage slices on top served in a handled bowl. The onion rings were perfect, the batter on her fish was light and crispy and you actually got a decent sized price fish over some flat small fillet! The sausage melted in my mouth and it was just a great experience! We are Cincy, but if we ever stay at HBR again we will be back. Should note too that I use a wheelchair and it was perfectly accessible as well :)

What a wonderful place to spend the evening. Cool brewpub atmosphere. Super friendly staff. A huge vegetarian selection. And of course I have to mention the great beer selection. High quality food and beer at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be back on our next trip through Indy.

We ordered three dishes, and two of them were pretty bland. The chips with the fish and chips were good, but the fish and the chicken schnitzel could have used some salt and pepper (which was not on the table). The pasta with artichoke was good when well mixed. I had the monon porter, and it was fantastic. Overall, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was good. I would probably want to try again with a different food order.

I loved that there were more than a few vegan/vegetarian meal options. I had a vegan tenderloin very crispy with all the toppings, onion rings to my surprise they were thin and crispy. Everything was seasoned well. I even had rice pudding warm reminded me of my mom's. The server was pleasant, current music played in the background not to loud. The price was great, i expected to pay more.

The Brew Pub is a must stop for dinner when I'm back in town. Lots of great vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. I can never resist the vegan Rueben sandwich though! A nice selection of solid beers too.
